Liver Detox Diet Plan

It has become more popular in recent years for people to detoxify their bodies by various means. People do things like fasting or cleansing the bowels with high fiber diets or fiber products.

Fasting is generally used as a temporary way of cleansing your body. This is because most people don’t have the determination, discipline, or even knowledge of how to fast properly or safely.

The body has several organs that help to filter toxins out of our bodies. The liver is one of these filters. As with any filter, the liver needs to be cleansed on a regular basis. Some people do it daily with supplements, and others do it less often by other means. To do this daily can be easily accomplished by adopting daily eating habits that maintain the liver and cleans the filter.

To detoxify the liver you need to eat plenty of raw fruits and vegetables. You’ll want to make sure that you eat dark green leafy vegetables. You will also want to eat orange, yellow, purple and red colored fruits and vegetables. These types of fruits and vegetables contain living enzymes, vitamin C, natural antibiotic substances and anti-cancer phyto-nutrients.

It’s important to keep the bowels moving regularly. You should sweep their walls clean with high fiber and living foods. But it is also important to remember that the bowels are really a channel of elimination. The intestines are not necessarily cleansing organs. To put it bluntly, your intestines cannot cleanse and filter toxic wastes from the bloodstream. They just carry out the waste products into the toilet.

Because of industry, factories, and the use of chemicals in our environment, its more important than ever that we become aware of the need to detoxify our bodies. And not just our bodies, but, the organs that actually do the work of detoxification.

You can look at your liver as the gateway to your body. And in the present/industiral chemical age the body’s detox filters are constantly challenged and sometimes overloaded. Probably thousands of chemicals are added to the food you eat on a daily basis. Plus, there have been over 700 chemicals identified in the drinking water most people use.

Plants that are used as food are sprayed with toxic chemicals. The animals raise for our restaurants and freezers are injected with potent hormones and antibiotics. And, nowadays, a significant portion of our food is genetically engineered, processed, refined, frozen and cooked with chemicals added.

All of this can lead to destruction of the naturally occuring and life maintaining balance of vitamins and minerals that are present in the food. In spite of all of this you liver must try to cope with each of these chemical toxins in addition to its normal everyday functions on regular food.

Adopting a liver detox diet plan can help many feel more vibrant and energized. For more information make sure that you sign up for the Detox Cleansing Diet Minicourse on the home page, or you will learn even more when you download this book.
